''Omega: The Last Days of the World'' ((フランス語:La Fin du monde)) is a science fiction novel published in 1894 by Camille Flammarion.〔Camille Flammarion, ''La Fin du monde''. Paris: Ernest Flammarion, 1894. The first English translation was published by The Cosmopolitan Publishing Company (New York) in 1894 (and reprinted by the University of Nebraska Press in 1999 for Bison Books, with an introduction by Robert Silverberg). A (digitised version of the original French novel ) is available in the Gallica service of the Bibliothèque Nationale Française (16 June 2015 ).〕
On 25th century Earth, a comet made mostly of Carbonic-Oxide (CO) could possibly collide with the Earth. It is concerned with the philosophy and political consequences of the end of the world.

In 1931, French director Abel Gance released his film adaptation of ''La Fin du monde'', known in English as ''End of the World''.
